Wesley Homes Des Moines is just finishing up Phase 2 of a multi-phased full campus reconstruction that began its planning in 2014. Phase 3 will follow after the completion of Phase 2, which includes the removal of the current structure that was built in the 1940s. This property has a great view of the Puget Sound.

At this time of uncertainty there are some things that are certain: we need to look out for each other. We can lean on each other (even with social distancing). We are stronger together.
One of InSite Architects’ core values is to not just work in communities, but to serve them. In looking for a way to give back we compiled a list of opportunities to help others. We share these with you in hopes that people can both get the help they need and find comfort in being able to help others during these uncertain times.
We believe making our communities better and igniting change goes beyond improving neighborhoods through great design. Together we can make a difference!
Opportunities to help others:
ON YOUR OWN
InSite Architects took an extra opportunity to embrace the holiday spirit this year – by participating in the Be A Santa to a Senior program.
InSite Architects' Elizabeth (Emmy) Jensen is now an associate member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Her membership was announced in the November edition of the AIA Minnesota Matrix Newsletter.
The 2019 Saint Therese Foundation Gala was held on October 10, 2019. It was the Foundation’s 30th year of hosting the event.
It was a great evening full of inspiration, as well as a silent auction, raffle, formal dinner, and entertainment. InSite Architects’ Jill Krance nearly won the heads & tails game, sure to make a comeback next year due to its popularity.
See photos of the events on Saint Therese’s Facebook page here!
As part of the program they showed the Saint Therese New Hope Capital Campaign 2019 video (below), which thoughtfully encapsulates their vision to, “Grow [their] senior communities with thoughtful intention, driven by compassionate care for the individuals and families we serve.”
Much of the video is shot from the InSite Architects'-designed St. Therese Woodbury campus.
InSite Architects is proud to support and work with Saint Therese in their mission to “Do ordinary things with extraordinary love.”
